Approximately 5-7 servings per ounce; up to 21 brews.
Elecampane Root (Inula helenium)
Elecampane has been used in Europe and Asia for thousands of years. It activates the movement of thick, stuck substances in the lungs and restores the flow of fresh water in your system. It is exceptional when you have a stubborn cough or bronchitis and need pain relief.
Wild Cherry Bark (Prunus serotina)
Wild cherry bark is often used in over-the-counter cough medicines for flavor and its ability to calm respiratory nerves and ease coughs. It also aids in digestion, while being slightly warming and relaxing.
Cinnamon Bark (Cinnamomum zeylanicum)
Native to Indonesia, Cinnamon is so prized that battles were fought over it by the Portuguese in the 1500's. It's a beautiful warming and cleansing herb with an unmistakable scent and flavor. It is used to relax muscles, ease bronchial spasms, support dental health, and lower glucose levels, among dozens of other benefits.
Ginger Root (Zingiber officinale)
Ginger was introduced by the Spaniards to the Americas and is now cultivated extensively in the West Indies. It was traditionally used to warm the stomach, help digestion, and dispel chills. Yet, ginger is a powerful anti-inflammatory indicated for coughs and bronchitis. It helps to decrease headaches and lower blood pressure and cholesterol levels.
Orange Peel (Citrus sinensis)
Orange Peel is a stimulant, which increases the action of all herbs in the formula, and it’s great for eliminating mucous and supporting digestion.
Place one teaspoon or tablespoon of herbs into your tea infuser for every cup of water. You can add more herbs to make a stronger tea.
For optimum flavor and results, you’ll want to use distilled or spring water.
Heat water to just before boiling and pour over your herbs.
Let your herbal blend steep for 5-7 minutes then enjoy.
