Raw Natural Wildflower Honey

Honey is one of those gifts from nature that we can never be thankful enough to have in our lives. It strengthens the immune system and it is particularly helpful when suffering from seasonal allergies, coughs or a sore throat. Honey is prebiotic, so it’s a wonderful digestive aid. Eden's Leaves only uses raw natural honey without any extra additives. Raw natural honey is unfiltered and unpasteurized, so it retains all of its natural enzymes, vitamins and antioxidants.

Elderberry (Sambucus nigra)

Elderberries have been a folk remedy for centuries in North America, Europe, Western Asia and North Africa. Elderberries contain vitamins A, B, and C and its antioxidant properties and protect cells from damage. They are strong immune system strengtheners that are effective for coughs, colds and flus, as well as other viral and bacterial infections.

Wild Cherry (Prunus serotina)

You’ll find wild cherry in many cough products such as Luden's and Vicks because of its delicious flavor and relaxing, decongesting properties. It is slightly warming and calms the respiratory system.

Astragalus (Astragalus membranaceus)

Astragalus is a darling in Western herbalism and Traditional Chinese medicine. It’s an adaptogen which means it helps the body resist the impact of stress. It is also an immunomodulator that protects the immune system over a longer period of time, creating a balancing rather than stimulating effect on the body. It is also an antiviral tonic, so it can be taken on a regular basis to help ward off viral infections.

Cinnamon (Cinnamomum zeylanicum)

Cinnamon was first written about over 4,700 years ago in Chinese texts. It is mentioned in the Bible when Moses is told to make holy anointing oil using two different kinds of cinnamon. In the 1st century A.D., cinnamon was worth 15 times the value of silver because of its many uses. As an herbal antimicrobial it is very useful for the common cold and the flu. In addition, it is antibacterial, antifungal, antiviral and carminative (relieves gas and bloating), among other actions.

Ginger (Zingiber officinale)

Ginger is a powerful anti-inflammatory herb indicated for coughs and bronchitis. It is very helpful for fevers, headaches, and digestive conditions. Ginger helps lower both cholesterol levels and blood-pressure.

Orange peel (Citrus sinensis)

The Vitamin C in orange peel boost the immune system by helping develop collagen, absorb iron, maintain strong bones and cartilage, and heal wounds. It aids in lowering levels of the stress hormone cortisol.
