Eden's Deep Rest Liquid Extract

from $20.00

The sleep your body needs.

Deep Rest Extract is a multi-benefit formula designed to address the exhaustion that sleep alone does not fix. When prolonged stress and depletion have made deep, restorative sleep feel out of reach, this blend works at the hormonal, neurological, and nervous system level to support both the quality of your sleep and the restoration that needs to happen during it. Delivered in tincture form, the herbs absorb more quickly and completely, delivering deeper, more immediate support so your body can finally do the repair work that rest is meant to provide.

This formula is ideal if you need:

  • More potent and deeper benefits than tea alone can provide

  • A convenient, transportable, and discrete format that doesn’t require preparation

  • Help staying asleep, including the pattern of waking at 2-3am, that lighter sleep herbs do not reliably address

  • Nervous system tissue support for those whose system feels too depleted to rest fully

  • Hormonal support that addresses the cortisol imbalance at the root of sleep disruption, not just its nightly expression

  • Overnight restoration that supports next-day mental clarity, emotional steadiness, and physical recovery

  • Immune health support that prolonged sleep deprivation may quietly compromise over time

  • A deeper tier of nighttime support that works alongside the Deep Rest Tea

How To Take It

Shake well before each use. Settling at the bottom of the bottle is normal.

Standard Dose:

  • Take 30 drops (2ml or approximately 1 dropperful) in 4oz water, juice, or tea.

  • You may increase the dose up to 40 drops if needed. Start at 30 drops and adjust based on your experience.

  • Try sublingual dosing for faster absorption. Hold under the tongue for 30-60 seconds before swallowing. This increases bioavailability, and the effect will be felt sooner. The flavor will be strong.

When To Take It

Timing Matters:

  • For best results, take 30-60 minutes before bed, at the same time each evening, to support your body's natural sleep rhythm.

    • Taking it before you begin winding down allows the herbs to work with your body's natural sleep preparation rather than against a nervous system already in wind-down mode.

For Longstanding Sleep Difficulties and an Overactive Mind at Bedtime:

  • Take your extract 30-60 minutes before bed and commit to consistent daily use. For those who have struggled with sleep for a long time, the shift is cumulative rather than immediate. The herbs build on one another with each passing day, and the most significant changes emerge through patience and consistency. Give it a full bottle of consistent daily use before evaluating results. A few slow breaths and a few minutes of stillness after your dose help create the conditions for the herbs to work.

For Waking During Sleep:

  • Keep your extract on your nightstand. A second, smaller dose of 15-20 drops upon waking can help you fall back asleep. This is one of the few scenarios in which an additional dose outside your regular timing is appropriate. This should decrease with consistent use.

For Burnout and Deep Nervous System Depletion:

  • Commit to daily use for a minimum of 6-8 weeks before fully evaluating results. When the nervous system has been under sustained stress for a long time, disrupted sleep is not a surface-level problem. The herbs in this formula work gradually at the tissue and hormonal level, supporting the kind of recovery that consistently poor sleep makes difficult to achieve on its own.

Safe for Long-Term Use

  • Deep Rest Extract is designed for ongoing nightly use throughout sleep restoration and beyond. These herbs work with your body's own sleep processes rather than overriding them, supporting a more natural quality of rest that builds gradually and sustainably with consistent use. Herbalist Guidance for Deep Rest Liquid Extract

  • Reduce screen time and bright light after taking your dose. These herbs work with your body's natural melatonin production. Stimulating your nervous system after taking your dose works against what the formula is trying to do.

  • Add your extract directly to your Deep Rest Tea for a seamlessly integrated evening protocol. The tea's warmth and ritual, combined with the extract's depth, create a complete nighttime support experience.

  • Keep a simple sleep journal during the first 6-8 weeks. Sleep quality improvements are gradual and cumulative, and the changes can be subtle enough to miss without reflection. Tracking your experience helps you notice the shift and stay with the formula long enough to feel the full benefit.

  • Pair with a Steady Ground formula during the day if chronic stress is driving your sleep difficulties. Supporting a healthy stress response during the day directly affects your body's ability to settle into rest at night.

  • Pair with a Radiant Transition formula if perimenopausal hormonal changes are disrupting your sleep, including hot flashes, night sweats, and the lighter sleep that hormonal shifts can produce. Nervous system support and hormonal support work best together during this transition.

Tips Worth Knowing for Liquid Extracts

  • Store in a cool, dark place away from direct sunlight to preserve potency.

  • The taste of a well-made herbal extract is part of its experience. Bitter, earthy, and complex flavors signal the activation of digestive and nervous system receptors that begin working on contact.

  • If the flavor is too strong, dilute in 2-4 oz of water or juice. Avoid hot liquids, as heat can degrade some constituents.

  • Liquid extracts are significantly more bioavailable than dried herb teas. A smaller amount of plant material delivers a higher concentration per dose.

  • As with most herbal formulas used long-term, periodic breaks are recommended as good practice. After 3 months of consistent daily use, consider taking a 1-2-week break before continuing. This supports your body's responsiveness to the herbs over time. Consult your practitioner for personalized cycling guidance.

Considerations

  • This extract contains alcohol.

    • Each 2 ml serving contains a small amount, comparable to a few drops of vanilla extract. If you are sensitive to alcohol, you may add your dose to 4 oz of warm water and allow it to sit briefly before drinking, which allows some of the alcohol to dissipate.

    • This product is not recommended for individuals avoiding alcohol for religious, recovery, or medical reasons.

  • This formula has sedative properties. Do not drive or operate heavy machinery after taking your dose.

  • This formula is not for use during pregnancy or lactation without guidance from a qualified healthcare practitioner.

  • Consult your healthcare provider before use if you are currently taking medications for anxiety, depression, insomnia, blood pressure, blood sugar, or thyroid conditions, or any sedative or sleep medications. Some herbs in this formula may interact with these medications.

  • Do not use with autoimmune conditions without qualified practitioner supervision.

  • Discontinue 2 weeks before any scheduled surgical procedure.

  • Not recommended for children under 18 without guidance from a qualified healthcare practitioner.

  • Keep out of the reach of children.

  • As with any over-the-counter health product, discontinue use if rash, digestive upset, or unusual symptoms occur.

  • This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. All content is for educational and informational purposes only. Consult a qualified healthcare practitioner before use if you have a medical condition or are taking medications.
