The taste of a well-made herbal extract is part of its experience. Bitter, earthy, and complex flavors signal the activation of digestive and nervous system receptors that begin working on contact.
If the flavor is too strong, dilute in 2-4 oz of water or juice. Avoid hot liquids, as heat can degrade some constituents.
Liquid extracts are significantly more bioavailable than dried herb teas. A smaller amount of plant material delivers a higher concentration per dose.
As with any herbal formula used long-term, periodic breaks are recommended as good practice. After 3 months of consistent daily use, consider taking a 1-2-week break before continuing. This supports your body's responsiveness to the herbs over time. Consult your practitioner for personalized cycling guidance.
