Four Seasons Syrup
For the seasons that ask more of you than you planned to give.
Four Seasons is the strongest syrup from Eden’s Leaves, formulated for the days and weeks when cold and flu season and allergy season are clearly taking a toll. This blend supports the immune system as it responds to colds, flu, and upper respiratory infections, eases coughs, and helps clear the congestion that settles in behind them. It soothes and moistens a throat that has gone raw and supports the body through seasonal allergies. Four Seasons brings warmth to a chest that feels heavy. It also supports the body’s resilience under sustained stress, which is what most often leaves the immune system depleted in the first place. The flavor is warm and sweet, enjoyed by adults and children alike.
Four Seasons Syrup is ideal if you need:
- Focused immune support during a cold, the flu, or an upper respiratory infection
- Relief from coughs and the congestion that lingers rather than passing
- Comfort for a throat that has gone raw or dry
- Support during seasonal allergies
- A more concentrated companion to daily elderberry through the winter months
- Something the household can reach for at the first sign that a season is turning
Herbalist Guidance
- Settling is normal in a honey-based syrup, so the bottle benefits from a good shake before each use.
- Adults
Acute symptoms: two teaspoons up to four times daily. Mild symptoms: two teaspoons daily. Ongoing seasonal support: one teaspoon daily. - Children
Ages two to four: one half teaspoon, at the same frequency. Ages five to 11: one teaspoon, at the same frequency. Ages 11 and older: as directed for adults. - This product contains honey, and honey is not to be given to children under one year of age.
- It can be taken by the spoonful, or stirred into a beverage or food. The enzymes in honey that provide medicinal benefits are destroyed when heated, so always add to beverages that are cooled, preferably at room temperature or below.
- This product needs to be refrigerated after opening, and is best used within six months of opening.
- At the First Sign
This is the formula for the moment something shifts. The acute dosing holds while symptoms last. - Through the Hard Weeks
Echinacea is formulated here for defined stretches rather than continuous use. Traditional practice is roughly 10 days on, then a break. - Between the Hard Weeks
The ongoing dose carries the quieter periods, or Elderberry Syrup takes over for daily use. Astragalus carries the long-view work in both formulas. - Alongside a Warm Cup
Stirred into cooled Immune Restore Tea, the two make a single cup that carries both formulas.
- Four Seasons and Elderberry Syrup are built to be used together across a season rather than chosen between. Elderberry daily, Four Seasons during the harder weeks.
- Licorice contributes most of the sweetness beyond the honey. If the flavor reads sweeter than expected, that is the licorice, not added sugar.
- Heat degrades the enzymes in raw honey, so tea is best cooled to drinking temperature before the syrup goes in.
- This product needs to be refrigerated. It is a honey-and-water preparation with no added preservative.
- Best used within six months of opening.
